CO observations of the molecular cloud encompassing Sharpless 222

Description

12CO observations around Sharpless 222 reveal a very wide region of CO emission at a temperature of about 10 K. There is a ridge of enhanced emission along the southern portion of the molecular cloud. HI emission associated with S222 lies above this ridge. (Auth.)
