Thermotherapeutic effects of electromagnetic radiations
Description
Various thermotherapeutic equipment and procedures are overviewed. The main radiation used for this purpose is the microwave radiation. The 2500 MHz and the 433 MHz thermotherapy is called microwave therapy and decimeter wave therapy, resp. Their main properties and applications are described. The pulsed high-frequency thermotherapy and a new device called DIAPULSE as well as its therapeutic applications are presented. (R.P.) 11 figs
