Spacer for water-cooled nuclear reactor fuel elements
Description
The proposal concerns the fixing of spacers for water-cooled nuclear reactor fuel elements. According to the invention, corrugated spring bands are to be fitted so as to hold themselves in the rectangular openings of the mesh walls, while the connecting non-corrugated parts are situated next to rods. The fuel rods are therefore fixed by a three point support. (UWI)

Der Vorschlag betrifft die Halterung von Abstandselementen fuer wassergekuehlte Kernreaktorbrennelemente. Erfindungsgemaess sollen in die rechteckigen Oeffnungen der Maschenwaende gewellte Federbaender selbsthaftend eingerastet werden, waehrend die daran anschliessenden nicht gewellten Teile an den Stegen anliegen. Die Brennstaebe werden dadurch in Dreipunkthalterung festgelegt. (UWI)Files
