The nucleon in a relativistic constituent quark model
Creators
- 1. Virginia Univ., Charlottesville (USA). Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics
Description
The nucleon is described as a relativistic three-quark system in light-cone dynamics. One of its three wave function invariants, I1, is shown to generate a second-class axial vector current. A calculation of the E2/M1 ratio of electromagnetic N→Δ(1232) transitions is discussed. (author). 12 refs
