Comment on ''Bose condensation in supercritical external fields''

Description
We point out that the analysis developed by Klein and Rafelski in a recent paper does not apply to the problem they consider, i.e., a spinless particle in an external Coulomb field. Their analysis could only apply to short-range potentials for which, however, it has already been shown that no instability of the vacuum due to pair creation arises
