Solvent extraction studies with decan-2,4-dione

Description
The distribution of the lanthanides between 0.1 M tetraethylammonium perchlorate and decan-2,4-dione used both as extraction solvent and complexing agent has been investigated at 250C. Equilibrium extraction curves for neodymium and europium were determined. From the results obtained the formation constants of the aqueous complex species were estimated. (author)
