Influential factors of in-situ leaching of uranium experiment from a uranium deposit in Inner Mongolia
- 1. Inner Mongolia Mining Co., Ltd., CNNC, Erdos (China)
Description
According to the hydrogeology conditions, the total pumped lixivium and leaching conditions of a uranium deposit in Inner Mongolia, the experiment of in-situ leaching of uranium with CO2 and O2 was carried out. The results indicate that the total pumped lixivium had no effect on uranium concentration in lixivium. To avoid the chemical jamming, pH value in lixiviant must be controlled at 6.3-6.5. The increase of oxygen concentration can improve uranium concentration in lixivium. Low-Permeable borehole for in-situ leaching should be washed with acid solution. (authors)
