The influence of defects on interphase wall motion in dysprosium orthoferrite

Description
The influence of crystal defects on dynamics of the interphase wall (IW) in dysprosium orthoferrite was treated on the basis of the theory of thermoactivated domain wall motion. The comparison between experimental and theoretical data indicates that the effect of defects results in the exponential dependence of the IW motion velocity on the magnetic field strength. The field dependence of IW continuous motion velocity between defects is revealed. The above dependence shows good agreement with V(H) calculated on the basis of the theory taking into account the IW transformation in a magnetic field
