The distortion by spin-orbit coupling in quasi-free scattering of polarized protons
Description
The precession of the spin of the incoming proton by its spin-orbit coupling could upset the usual simple interpretation of quasi-free scattering with polarized incident protons. The effect for 320 MeV proton scattering on the 1psub(1/2) state of 16O is computed and found to be small. (Auth.)
