Description
Based on the fact that airflow path in the shaft station generally pertained to the roadway type ventilation space, study on the regularity of radon and its daughters' concentration distribution in shaft station was carried out. Beginning with analysis of radon and its daughters' concentration distribution in the steady state of ideal roadway with a homogeneous radon exhalation rate, the steady-state distribution equations of radon and its daughters' concentration were deduced when radon emanation rate of roadway was inhomogeneous on the assumption of positive/negative source and superposition principle of radon and its daughters' concentration growth. Associated with engineering practice, simplification, analysis and discussion on relevant mathematic equations were launched. The study results indicated that minimizing the radon exhalation of rock face and ensuring a stable wind quantity with better intake air quality could effectively achieve the aim to radon control.
