A gas adsorption apparatus for studies on alpha-active materials
Description
A gas adsorption apparatus of a basically conventional design but incorporating certain novel features, and modifications to make it suitable for use in a glove box with alpha-active materials is described. The apparatus was designed principally for measurements of surface area and porous properties of spherical fuel particles produced by the gel precipitation route, but is suitable for general use. Experience of operation, and a discussion of some results are included. (author)
