Effect of phase transformations on the temporary strains initiation during welding of dissimilar steels

Description
A study was made on peculiarities of initiation of metal strained state of heat affected zone metal during diffusion welding of dissimilar chromium-nickel steels, providing the formation of uniform temperature field. It is shown that under conditions of such field phase transformations in ''weld metal'' don't change the character of transformations in the ''basic metal''. During fuse welding the main role in formation of plastic deformations in heat affected zone is played by temperature field non-uniformity and fixity of welded components
