Description
It is shown that the current of the gap magnetic self-insulation in the high-current coaxial diodes is approximately by two times higher as compared to the external critical current of the magnetic insulation. The model is proposed on the basis of this in accordance whereof the quasi-stationary state of the electron punch in the high-current diodes is explained by the change in the condition of the gap magnetic insulation by the pinch formation. This makes it possible to calculate the Δt pinch lifetime. The results of the Δt calculations agree well with the experimental value
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
