Description
X-ray examination of nasopharyngeal tumours makes an important contribution to the classification of the stages and planning of the therapy. There are several methods of examination. Their values are discussed and an examination scheme in dependence on the expansion of the tumour is proposed, stating the reasons. Typical X-ray findings are introduced, taking into consideration their clinical and therapeutic value. (orig.)

Die Roentgenuntersuchung bei Nasopharynxtumoren leistet einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Stadieneinteilung und Therapieplanung. Verschiedene Untersuchungsverfahren stehen zur Verfuegung. Ihre Wertigkeit wird besprochen und ein Untersuchungsschema in Abhaengigkeit von der Tumorausdehnung vorgeschlagen und im einzelnen begruendet. Typische Roentgenbefunde werden unter Beruecksichtigung ihres klinischen und therapeutischen Aussagewertes vorgestellt. (orig.)Additional details
