Spectra intensity parameter of DyP/sub 5/O/sub 14/ single crystals
- 1. Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Academia Sinica
Description
Ndp/sub 5/O/sub 14/ single crystal were found to be a type of excellent laser materials in 1972. Recently many investigations, such as, on preparation, spectroscopic properties, laser actions and theoretical researches were carried out in this field. In this paper the results of theoretical investigation on DyP/sub 5/O/sub 14/ single crystals by using absorption spectra and the Judd-Ofelt theory are reported. The experimental and the theoretical oscillator strengths and three phenomenological intensity parameters are calculated. After evaluation the reducible matrix elements and then the fluorescent radiative transition probabilities are obtained
