This paper discussed the need of the provider of computer hardware, software and applications systems to determine the true needs of the customer before going off to develop the perfect system. The difficulty in doing this stems from the fact that each of those involved in identifying the need and developing the system to meet that need,all have a different perspective of the problem and the best solution. The solution is to spend even more effort in determining the needs,capabilities to utilize the technology,and interest of the customer
