Quasi-two-body pion absorption on helium-3
Description
We examine the pion absorption process on a deuteron-like pair in 3He. It is shown that the effective increase in the density of the 'deuteron' leads to an interesting signature in the proton polarisation, Py. Suggestions are made concerning the best energies and angles at which to perform the corresponding measurements. (orig.)
