Description
Two cases of extremely rare aneurysms of peripheral portions of the AICA are reported with a review of the pertinent literature. According to reported surgical findings, nearly all of the aneurysms originated from arterial loops near the internal acoustic meatus. These aneurysms can therefore cause the cerebellopontine angle syndrome, with or without subarachnoid hemorrhage. (orig.)
