Description
Macroscopic description of collective motions in highly-excited nuclei is derived as a result of statistical averaging over many microscopic states of the quantum system. A relation is investigated between quantities specific for macroscopic models (like multiplicities of the matter density oscillations, frequencies of the proper vibrations) and quantum quantities corresponding to conditions of quantum experiments (angular momentum and energy transferred to the nucleus)
