Eco information 3. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost, a.s., on the environment, locality of Bohunice, within March 2019

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP, Interim Spent Fuel Storage (MSVP), Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VK808 - BSC), The Main Production Unit (VK 46A - HVB) and Bitumenation Lines (VK 46B - BL) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - March 2019 (for NPP V1, MSVP, BSC, HVB and BL, respectively) were: 0.876 MBq (0.00109% of AL) for V1, 0.023 MBq (0.008% of AL) for MSVP, 0.012 MBq (0.009% of AL) for BSC, 0.437 MBq (0.066% of AL) for HVB and 0.011 MBq (0.008% of AL) for BL of aero-soles. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a March 2019 for NPP V1, MSVP, and VK 808 BSC, respectively, were: 0.032 MBq (V1), 0.009 MBq (VK MSVP), 0.005 MBq (VK 808 BSC), 0.176 MBq (VK 46A) and 0.005 MBq (VK 46B) of aero-soles into atmosphere; 0.832 MBq (V1 and MSVP) and 0.733 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) of corrosive and fission products, and 0.014 GBq (V1 and MSVP) and 6.648 GBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) of tritium into the Vah River and 0.000 GBq (V1 and MSVP) and 0.000 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) of corrosive and fission products and 0.000 GBq of tritium (V1) and 0.000 GBq of tritium (TSU RAO and NPP A1) into the Dudvah River). For the period January - March 2019 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 2.191 MBq (0.0169% of AL for V1 and MSVP) and 2.924 MBq (0.024% of AL for TSU RAO and NPP A1); and for tritium it is 0.048 GBq (0.00242% of AL) for V1 and MSVP, and 22.422 GBq (0.061% of AL) for TSU RAO and NPP A1 (into the Vah River) and for corrosive and fission products 0.000 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) and 0.000 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) (0.0000 of AL) of tritium (into the Dudvah River). Chemical effluents are reported, too.
