Gravitational-radiation production using nuclear explosions

Description
It is shown that it may be possible to produce gavitational-radiation powers in excess of 1 erg/sec with modest-sized nuclear explosions. The gravitational-radiation intensity near the explosion may be sufficiently high to be detectable, permitting general-relativity experiments to be conducted in terrestrial environments.
