Trigger phenomena on vapor explosion caused by organized motion

Description
In order to clarify qualitatively the relation between the transformation of the melts and triggering phenomena, experiments have been conducted by dropping tin and zinc which were selected based on consideration to physical properties. The melt motion with large-scale structures of cone-like shape related to organized motion was observed in the present three fluid system of water, steam and molten tin or zinc which has relatively large density and don't diffuse. Trigger phenomena were observed near the base area of the cone-like shapes in tin jets. This indicates that organized motion contributes to the occurrence of triggering. A few interaction occurred in zinc experiments. (author)
