Bremsstrahlung spectra as a probe of nuclear-reaction mechanism

Description

The expression for the interference term in Bremsstrahlung spectra accompanying a nuclear reaction has been calculated by a time dependent approach. This term is related to the nuclear reaction amplitudes and allows a direct study of the reaction mechanism. Possible applications in heavy ion processes are discussed. (author)
