Theory of antennas for ion Bernstein waves

A theory of antennas for ion Bernstein wave heating has been proposed as a viable alternative to fast wave heating in the ICF domain. The radiation resistance of the Alcator C antenna is found to be more than 3 times larger than that of an equivalent dipole antenna
