Elastic scattering of 9Li nuclei by 208Pb nuclei

Description
Ratio of differential cross section of 9Li nuclei elastic scattering on 208Pb nuclei by the energy of Elab=86 MeV to the rutterford cross section is measured. The ratio obtained is analyzed within the frames of classical approach and by optical model. The interaction of 9Li nuclei with 208Pb by the given energy is characterized by surface tranparence. Calculation with microscopic potential of the double convolution indicates the 9Li nuclei strong dynamic polarization in the scattering process
