Description
Description of a low-energetic bremsstrahlung accompanying particle scattering in terms of the Feshbach-Yennie approximation, i.e. taking into account only an external contribution to the amplitude of the process, is dealt with. A modified derivation of the Feshbach-Yennie approximation is set forth. The scope of applicability of the approximation has been analysed. Expression for the spectrum of bremsstrahlung in the region of isolated overlapping resonances conditions both monoenergetic and blown-up beams of incoming particles have been set out. The values necessary for calculating bremsstrahlung the current methods for calculating them and the information which can be derived in treating experimental data have been discussed. The relation of the bremstrahlung spectrum with time dependence of a nuclear interaction has been discussed. A review of experiments to study proton bremstrahlung has been given
