Internal surface decontamination device for an end section of a pipe
Description
The device contains means to channel and confine one solution in the pipe section and a solution feeding and treatment circuit, linked to the channelling and confining means. Channelling and confining means contain an internal volume feeding body of the pipe section attached to a watertight closing sheet of the section end and a tank containing an inflatable supple casing able to close the internal pipe section when it is inflated. The feeding body defines a circulating zone of the decontamination solution at the touch of the section internal surface. The invention particularly applies to the decontamination of a linking primary pipe end of a vapor generator of a pressure water nuclear reactor. (Author). 4 figs., 5 refs
