The Czechoslovak Nuclear Forum elected Associate Member to FORATOM

Description
On June 7, 1990, the Czechoslovak Nuclear Forum was the first organization in central and eastern Europe to be elected Associate Member to FORATOM. The aims and activities of the other nuclear forum bodies within FORATOM are characterized briefly. FORATOM monitors nuclear industry problems and suggests ways to their solution, makes efforts for problems associated with nuclear power to be understood, and acts as an advisory body to the IAEA.
