System for performing radioimmunological examinations

Description
The examinations are based on the latex fixing test. An aqueous suspension of latex particles treated with tritium and of scintillating polystyrene particles is used. The amount of latex-polystyrene particle dimers and of higher order aggregates and therefore the concentration of antibodies or antigen present, which have caused the aggregation can thus be determined by using a scintillation counting apparatus. Die Untersuchungen basieren auf dem Latex-Fixiertest. Es wird eine waessrige Suspension von mit Tritium behandelten Latexteilchen und von szintillierenden Polystyrolteilchen verwendet. Die Menge der gebildeten Latex-Polystyrolteilchen-Dimeren und von Aggregaten hoeherer Ordnung und somit die Konzentration an anwesendem Antikoerper oder Antigen, welche die Aggregation verursachte, kann so unter Verwendung einer Szintillationszaehleinrichtung bestimmt werden.
