Description

The demonstration test of nitric acid recovery tower on absorption of NOx in tail gas from denitration of uranyl nitrate by pyrolysis in detail was described in this paper. The best absorption efficiency test of single tower under different spray density was conducted and four-tower column was verified under continuous running with the best spray density. The results showed that: when the spray density of l#, 2# nitrate recovery tower is 5.l m3/(m2·h), and 2.55 m3/(m2·h) of 3#, 4# tower, the highest absorption efficiency of the four-tower in continuous and stable operation will be 98.1%, and the average is 97.5%. After nitric acid recovery purification tower, the nitrogen oxide content in the tail gas is 252 mg/m3, which complies with the environmental discharge standard (less than 420 mg/m3) and meets requirements of the process. Moreover, the important parameters of nitrogen oxide gas absorption were obtained. (authors)
