Description
Fe - 9.87at% N alloy was investigated after gaseous nitridation of α-Fe foil and its successive quenching. Conclusions are based on correlation of the value of the relative number of iron atoms, surrounded by nitrogen atoms, obtained by NGR method, with corresponding probability, calculated in the framework of different models. It was established that nitrogen distribution differed from repulsion and chaotic ones and was close to distribution, ordered according to Fe4N type
