Description
The paper describes safety related water and steam isolating valves and safety valves, which have been supplied to 31 pressurized water reactors during the past ten years. It details how to meet the design specifications, the manufacturing quality assurance and the certified testing requirements which are called for on current and proposed pressurized water reactors. Particular emphasis is paid to primary system safety related valves, feed water and main steam containment isolating valves and main steam safety valves. (author)
