What have we learned from high energy experiments
Description
A survey is given of the lessons to be learned from first‐generation strong‐interaction experiments at the National Accelerator Laboratory and the CERN Intersecting Storage Rings. A program to study the properties of diffraction dissociation is urged for the NAL bubble chamber experiments. Throughout, the emphasis is placed upon conclusions of a general nature rather than those which depend on details of models.
