The radiation chemistry of heteropoly electrolytes

Description
The continuous radiolysis of aqueous solutions of various characteristic heteropoly electrolytes of molybdenum and tungsten has been investigated. Oxidizing radicals such as OH radicals have no effect. On the contrary reducing species H radicals, e-(aq) and organic radicals, originating from alcohols or acids, produce the so called heteropoly blues in analogy with electrochemical and chemical reducing reagents. Abstract (German)
