The theory of wave radiation by the Langmuir soliton

Description

The radiation of ion-acoustic and Alfven waves by Langmuir solitons is investigated. Space-time distributions of the radiation fields of solitons that accelerate or change their shapes, as well as those of collisions of two solitons, are defined. The acceleration of the soliton is due to the inhomogeneity of the plasma. The bound state of two resting solitons changing their profiles is called a ''pulsating'' soliton
