Complex concept of geodetic work on building site of Dukovany nuclear power plant

A general and extensive information is presented on geodetic work carried out on the site of the Dukovany nuclear power plant. This work was carried out before the plant was put under construction as well as throughout its construction and operation. A separate unit was set up equipped with instruments and computers responsible for preparatory work, the delineation of infrastructure and layout, checking of measurement and documentation of the actual implementation of the project. For the construction of the main production unit a microlayout of control was designed at the level of 6.5 m with an accuracy of +-0.0005 m which with project implementation is completed and transferred to new height levels.
