Description
Using the attractor mechanism and the wavefunction interpretation of the topological string partition function on a Calabi Yau threefold M we study the relation between the Bekenstein-Hawking-Wald entropy of BPS Calabi-Yau black holes and quantum distribution functions defined on H3(M). We discuss the OSV conjecture in this context. (Abstract Copyright [2007], Wiley Periodicals, Inc.)
