Evaluation of steel limiting states under conjugate processes of low-cyclic loading and diffusion of sorbed hydrogen
Description
The paper deals with a possibility for computation of steel life under low-cyclic fatigue which is conjugated with diffusion processes of atom migration. The computation is based on the ideas of irreversible processes which lead the steel to failure and are quantitatively described by the material entropy increments. Theoretical estimates are shown to be in good agreement with the results of experiments for steel 20 sorbing hydrogen under low-cyclic fatigue
