Physicochemical aspects of joint processing of nepheline syenites of Turpi Deposit and boron raw materials of Ak-Arkhar Deposit by combined method

Description

The aim of the work is to study the processes of joint processing of aluminium and boron comprising ores - nepheline syenites of Turpi Deposit and boron raw materials of Ak-Arkhar Deposit of the Republic of Tajikistan by sintering with sodium sulfate, determining the optimal physicochemical and technological parameters of sintering with further decomposition of the obtained sinter by water and HNO3. The scientific aspects of technological processes for the joint sintering of nepheline syenites and boron raw materials have been elaborated; the optimal parameters for the joint sintering of nepheline syenites and borosilicates with sodium sulfate have been determined; the physicochemical transformations of ore minerals have been established when they are sintered together with sodium sulfate, and also in stages of nitric acid decomposition of aluminium and borosilicate solid residue; a flowsheet has been developed, which is based on sintering of nepheline syenites and borosilicates of Tajikistan with sodium sulfate.
