Orientation of the active auroral corona rays
- 1. AN SSSR, Novosibirsk. Sibirskoe Otdelenie
Description
The disorientation mechanism of the active auroral corona rays is discussed. The earlier cases of active auroral corona rays disorientation are explained by nonparallel ray position in space due to the interaction of the fine structure of longitudinal currents and electric fields in the Earth atmosphere. A failure of geomagnetic pulsation phases in the Pi2 range is observed in the case of registration of disoriented projections of active auroral corona rays
