Description
The method of manufacturing of radiation resistant polymer composition of medical quality have been proposed. The raw material consisted of polypropylene homopolymer with propylene-ethylene copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and polystyrene suspension have been mixed and extruded during heating at 190-270oC. Then obtained mixture have been granulated. The material structure with microagglomerates is responsible for elevated radiation resistance of material being destinated for medical devices production and radiosterilization
