ENTOREL. TELEMAN - TM41. WP1 - definition of work scope

Description

The ENTOREL project is charged with providing information on the safety and reliability of and the effects of radiation on the likely component parts of TELEMAN machines. As only an outline specification for these machines exists, the project will concentrate on the sub-systems and components of most general use for remote-handling, teleoperated equipment, rather than specialised tools for well-defined tasks. These areas of general interest include electronic components, sensors, communications and organic materials for insulation, sealing, etc. Safety and reliability models will also be of a generalised nature, drawing on experience with similar, existing machines.
