Effect of the initial data deviations on results of nuclear reactor optimization

Description

The scintillations of cosmic radio sources produced by F-region density inhomogeneities oriented along the geomagnetic lines of force are analyzed. With the line of sight coinciding with the magnetic field, the scintillation index should increase the degree of this enhancement and the range of angles where the effect can be observed depend on the specific form of the spatial inhomogeneity spectrum. The analysis has been carried out for two- and three-dimensional anisotropic turbulence in the ionosphere. A new method of plasma diagnosis has been suggested for the non-uniform ionosphere, based on multifrequency measurements of the scintillation index in observations of cosmic radio sources
