Methods of pipe rupture frequency assessment in current PSA studies

Description

The report is structured as follows. Chapter 2 discusses the selection of the primary circuit systems at the Dukovany reactor that were used for a comparison of the methodological approaches to quantification. Chapter 3 deals with frequency assessment by the 'classical' method based on the pipe segment concept. Chapter 4 examines the subsequent development of the frequency assessment methods in the 1990s. The 3rd method of quantification is demonstrated in Chapter 5, where the results obtained by the PRAISE code are summarized. Chapter 6 compares the 3 methods. (P.A.)
