Description
The cluster decay and spontaneous fission of 232Th are measured with a polyethyleneterephthalate track detectors in the Gran Sasso underground laboratory. The lower limit on the partial half-life for the most probable 26Ne cluster decay is found: T1/2cl > or approx. 5x1021 yr (a 90% confidence level). Spontaneous fission with partial half-life T1/2sf=(1.2+0.5-0.3)x1021 yr is recorded
