Surplus acquisition of electric power from self-producers: commercial aspects

Companhia Paulista de Forca e Luz (CPFL) has been doing pioneering work in its electric system together with some consumers that can produce electric power, in order to obtain electric power deriving from those industrial processes. Therefore, additional ability has been required from the concessionaire since each case demands specific valuation of technical components typical of the industrial processes involved. Consequently, it is very important the correct formulation of energy exchanging conditions for each consumer that can produce electric power, in order to keep the interest of both parts in the associate generation enterprise of electric power. This research (work) points out the benefits to the electric section, identifying actual restrictions, within the parameters in accordance with the results which have already been obtained in the CPFL area.
