Action of γ-radiation on the pH- and heat-stability of phenylalanine-tRNA-synthetases of cotton seeds
Description
Action of temperature and pH on the activity of phenyl-alanine-tRNA-synthetases has been studied in two-day-old cotton seedlings grown from irradiated (25 and 50 kR) seeds. High thermolability and increased pH sensitivity were exhibited by enzymes E1 and, particularly, E2 of irradiated organisms as compared to those of the controls
