Description
57Fe Moessbauer studies at 298K and 80K of a superconducting sample with composition of Bi4Sr3Ca3(Cu0.993Fe0.0074O16+y have been performed. In both temperatures the spectra were fitted with one doublet. It is suggested that the Fe occupies the pyramidal site and that the superconducting phenomenon does not affect its surroundings.
