Unified microscopic approach to description of elastic and inelastic cross sections of heavy ion reactions

Description
This review deals with a microscopic approach to describing the elastic and inelastic heavy ion scattering aimed at studying possible manifestations of the nuclear structure in these processes. The heavy-ion interaction potential is constructed with the use of nuclear densities calculated memerically in two microscopic models: method of the hyperspherical functions for light ions and quasiparticle-phonon model for heavy ions. The scattering processes of 4He, 6Li, 12C, 16O on themselves and on the sup(58, 50)Ni, 90Zr, 124Sn, sup(142, 144)Nd, 208Pb targets are considered
