Guideline for personnel protection during maintenance work of nuclear power plants with LWR-type reactors. Pt. 2

Description

The guideline states the requirements on organisational and activity-centered personnel protection measures during start-up (nuclear start-up and testing of the plant) and operation of nuclear power plants with LWR-type reactors. The guideline will also state the requirements on radiation protection measures during reconstruction and repair, so that it can be considered as a concretisation of the fundamentals of radiation protection as stated in Section 28, No. 1 of the Radiation Protection Ordinance. Abstract (German)

Zweck der Richtlinie ist, die Anforderungen an die organisatorischen und taetigkeitsbezogenen Strahlenschutzmassnahmen fuer das Personal bei Instandhaltungsarbeiten waehrend der Inbetriebsetzung (nukleare Inbetriebsetzung und Erprobung der Anlage) und des Betriebs von KKW mit LWR festzulegen; Zweck der Richtlinie ist auch, die Anforderungen an die Strahlenschutzmassnahmen bei Aenderungsarbeiten in gleicher Weise zu erfassen. Sie stellt insoweit eine Konkretisierung der Strahlenschutzgrundsaetze des Paragraphen 28 Abs. 1 StrlSchV dar. (orig./HP)
